YOUR VIDEO SUBMISSION
Simply use your cell phone camera (or any camera!) to shoot your best magic effect in one continuous shot, no longer than 90 seconds in duration. Then submit it to the Cyber Magic Superstar Facebook Group by clicking “ENTER NOW” above and paying the entry fee. You will then receive a unique entry code and a blue Facebook button to click on which will take you to the Cyber Magic Superstar Facebook Group. You must join the Facebook Group and agree to the Group rules.
Once you are accepted into the Group, its time to upload your video and you must include your unique entry code in your post description. If you fail to include your entry code in the post description, your video will not be approved. The Admins will verify your unique entry code and approve your video so it becomes visible on the Group timeline.
When your video is visible on the Timeline, simply share it from the Group to your own Profile or Page and say,
"I'm a Cyber Magic Superstar! Help me win US$10,000 and ’SHARE' my video! #cybermagicsuperstar2020 ”
Make sure you hashtag #cybermagicsuperstar2020
When your video receives 10 Facebook shares from the Group, you are in the running for the US$10,000 cash prize. You may submit as many videos as you wish. Simply go through the entry procedure for each video at US$5.00* per submission.
Make sure you turn on notifications for the Facebook Group and tune in to the weekly Facebook Live updates from the competition host.
Video submissions close on WEDNESDAY 12th August at 11:59pm EST (THURSDAY 13th August, 1:59pm AEST).
THE JUDGES
The competition is judged by three of the world’s top celebrity magicians, one for each of the three main categories of magic:
SHIN LIM: Sleight of Hand
Shin Lim is one of the best sleight of hand artists in the world. A gifted "Mozart of Magic", Shin Lim choreographs original and artistic routines, weaving music with magic into elegant card "ballets”. The professional magic community acknowledged Shin's remarkable dexterous sleight of hand skills by awarding him the FISM 2015 World Champion of Card Magic. The smartest minds of magic acknowledged and endorsed Shin's original creativity when he succeeded Twice in Penn & Teller Fool Us (2015 & 2017). Shin Lim shot to fame as the $1M Winner of America’s Got Talent 2018 and Winner of America’s Got Talent 2019 - The Champions. As a celebrity judge on Cyber Magic Superstar, Shin hopes to inspire the next generation of magicians to make & elevate Magic as an Art form.
FRANZ HARARY: Grand Illusion
Franz Harary is respected as one of the greatest illusionists on earth today. The Associated Press wrote, "Harary's magic is arguably the most innovative of our time”. He continually redefines the art of magic as a visionary illusion designer, winning international acclaim and the highest awards for his astounding achievements. Harary is responsible for bringing magic to live concerts for Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Cher, Missy Elliott, Justin Bieber and countless others. MAX MAVEN: Mentalism
Max Maven is ranked as one of the most influential mentalists of all time and is considered a legend in the world of magic. He has presented his mind blowing mysteries in packed theatres all across the globe. He has starred in television shows in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North and South America including multiple appearances on NBC’s “World’s Greatest Magic”. Orson Welles described Max as, “The most original mind in magic.” The New York Times observed that Max’s “Category-defying mind-reading show veers into conceptual art.” People Magazine hailed his work as, “A new form of participatory theater.” He has been a consultant to most of the important names in modern magic and an advisor for more than 100 television shows. He has published over 2,000 mentalism effects, articles, and essays and is excited to bring his knowledge and expertise to the celebrity judging panel of Cyber Magic Superstar.

THE WINNER & THE PRIZES
The Top 100 finalists will be announced on Friday 14th August, 8pm EST (Saturday 15th August, 10am AEST) on Facebook Live from the Cyber Magic Superstar Facebook Group.
There will be one cash prize winner, ten Murphy’s Magic runner up prize winners and one Jeff McBride Mystery School scholarship winner.
The Cyber Magic Superstar winners will be announced on MONDAY 17th August, 8pm EST (Tuesday 18th August, 10am AEST) on Facebook LIVE from the Cyber Magic Superstar Facebook Group.
The first prize winner receives US$10,000 cash.
Thanks to Murphy’s Magic Supplies, there is a bonus prize pool of over US$1,600 retail worth of magic. This will be broken down into 10 runner up prize packages valued at US$160.35 each, shipped out to 10 lucky runner up winners all announced on the Facebook Live.
